Purchasing Manager

Delta Technologies is an industry leading tooling company who is searching for an experienced Purchasing Manager to fulfill all ordering and logistical needs for the tooling business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with suppliers to procure parts and materials.

  • Initiate and place purchase orders.

  • Administer purchase orders and maintain records.

  • Manage supplier relationships through production and delivery.

  • Follow up on scheduled material to secure on time delivery.

  • Verify receipt of items.

  • Authorize payments for purchasing department.

  • Regular attendance is an essential function of the job

  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Buyer/Purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment

  • Time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Experience working with tooling suppliers

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Written and oral communication skills.
