Sales Account Manager
Delta Technologies is seeking an Account Manager for its Plastic Injection Molding Division in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Our goal is for a qualified Account Manager to helps us develop new accounts and maintain existing accounts. Duties and responsibilities include customer communication the entire program:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Must be able to read and interpret job and work instructions, safety rules, and procedural manuals.

Must be able to complete customer requests for quotations and data requests as required.

Submits quotation(s) to the customer directly or indirectly for approval.

Estimates date of delivery to the customer, based on knowledge of company’s production and delivery schedules.

Compile weekly sales highlights at the end of every week and submit to management.

Must meet or exceed sales goals with each and every customer.

Complete management of customer accounts internal and external.

Implement acquisition strategy in coordination with the business divisions.

Acquire new business with existing and new customers.

Maintain and develop customer relationships with OEM and Tier 1 customers, including Engineering, Purchasing, and other areas of customer management.

Must be able to support new business development while sustaining current business.

Provide timely communication to OEM customer / Tier 1 customers when changes occur relating to the customer’s product or business.

Maintain sales related activity and knowledge on customer systems

Identify new program opportunities

Track and maintain current industry best practices, new product innovations, industry news, trends and events.

Improve customer relationships by providing competitive solutions to customer needs

Must be able to develop and obtain target pricing and understand and build a competitive strategy

Drive timely reaction to customer feedback

Manage and drive the RFQ process

Monthly, quarterly and annual forecast
Qualifications:
Qualified Candidates should possess an: Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred, Understand the build of all tools built by the company (molds, dies, fixtures, and end of arm tooling, etc), and minimum of 2-3 years in plastic injection molding industry.
